Hello Dan,

an older excellent card for this purpose (I owned it but never used 
it in that form) is the ATi Radeon 8500. It got very good reviews 
from video-producing geeks (at that time). I believe you should 
search for the Mac-edition, but I'm not sure. Perhaps you can use a 
PC-version too.
