[Cube] Tiger Upgrade issues HELP HELP HELP, Please!!!

yet some questions to understand.

Does the cube start from Panther-DVD?

Till today I'm not sure whether you can take the OS-X installed 
with/on another machine or not.

May be password and machine are a combined couple?
Try with inactive log-in Password, I would recommend.
Or take password away when starting with Panther-DVD.

Didn't you want to install 10.4 ??
Is there another partition?

If you can start with Tiger Install DVD, it's not the cube, but 
something with the installed system on your HD.

I think, you updated firmware too late.
It should have been done befor installing a newer system...

You could press the cuda-chip on the mainbord yet.
--- That's not without any risk! ---
The cube will forget every (possibly wrong) parameter.

Do you need an instruction?


Of course there are surely some secret ways to approach to the 
problem with starting in console.
But I'm no unix-geek...
