Gary Glad you brought that up 800 to 400. Several people I know were also unaware of the flexibility the fire wire 800 offers. The fw 800 speed is super. If you daisy chain the drive be sure and put the 800 drives in front of the 400 devices, and you will not lose the 800 speed.
