Hello Luis, let me ask you from a special point of view: Why must it be an iMac? OK, I understand that it is an attractive design object and it has a quite good performance and there is a large gap between the Mac Pro and the Mac mini. The iMac is nearly between. But I would never buy an All-in-one machine: As the screen or another important part fails (mostly after the warranty), it is very expensive to let it repair or you have lost your computer and monitor at once. Why not take the new Mac mini? It's graphics seem to be markably better and it is fast enough. Especially if you combine it with an external FW-800 harddisk as bootdisk. I tried with my Mini to change the internal with an external 3.5" harddisk (S-ATA) by leading the cable to the outside. It is not absolutely simple but possible, not more complicated than bringing the cube's DC-board to another location as I did too. And then you'll get quite fast machine. To buy a 24" TFT separate must not be a problem. You'll have the full colorspace OK, the design question. But most of the time you'll don't see the Mini behind the large screen. Please take it as just an idea. Stefan
