I know this is going to sound silly but just trust me (I used to do this for a living).
1) Make sure there's power in the new socket you're using. To do so either use a tester or just plug in a desk lamp.
2) Try another power cord and make sure it's plugged in on both sides.
It doesn't make much sense for a Cube or its power supply to stop functioning just because they were moved. I used to move my Cube all the time and it was never a problem.
