[Cube] External DVD drive compatibility

Thanks for the answers about DVD drives.  The one I'm looking at for my cube is:  
Samsung USB 2.0 8x DVD Writer External Optical Drive for Mac and PC SE-S084D/TSBS (Gloss Black)


The only thing that bothers me is the usb 2.  My cube has usb 1.1.  Now there is a usb 2 and 1.1 hub that can be purchased separately.  Is this reasonable?
