Can any one throw light on this problem?<br>
My cube is 450 mhz with 1.25mb ram and 8.2gb space on the hd<br>
It was running with OS 9.2.1 and OS 10.1.1 <br>
It is not connected to the internet.<br>
<br>
I bought a used boxed copy of OS 10.3.2 retail set from e bay which
looks fine and not battered about. My intention was to load the 10.3.2
onto the cube to upgrade the 10.1.1 and give me a fighting chance of
internet access.<br>
<br>
The upgrade ran fine and the 10.3 worked after the installation was
completed. After shutting down and attempting to restart the cube the
next day I got a message saying:-<br>
<blockquote>'Welcome to Open Firmware, the system time is 08.36.28 -
12/24/2008 (which was the correct time)<br>
To continue booting type "mac-boot" and press return.<br>
To shut down type "shut-down" and press return."<br>
<br>
</blockquote>
If I tried mac-boot I got a grey striped screen.<br>
If I tried shut-down it did.<br>
<br>
I have reloaded the 10.3.2 twice now and had no changes.<br>
<br>
In accordance with the installation instructions I have inserted the OS
9 disc and held down 'C' at start up and have selected the start up
disc as OS 10.3 but the same thing happens. If I select OS 9 it all
seems to boot up OK.<br>
<br>
Any suggestions on what to do to get the OS10.3 booting up?<br>
