Sorry, I meant to send this earlier. This story comes from Adobe's web site. You have to register and get a free Snapfish account to submit your digital photos, shot only during the week of May 12-18. ----------------------------- Help tell the story of your community through digital images—and take part in one of the largest photography and publishing events in history. For a single week—Monday, May 12, through Sunday, May 18, 2003—you can participate in a nation-wide project to capture a slice of American life through digital photography. The creators of the "A Day in the Life of America" series are back at work coordinating a publishing project that will result in 53 large-format volumes showing more than 10,000 extraordinary digital photographs of a single week in America. The project will result in the largest number of trade-book titles ever published simultaneously. How to participate If you live in the US, have a digital camera, an email address, and a passion for telling stories with pictures, we invite you to take digital photographs from May 12-18, 2003 and submit them via the America 24/7 website (http://www.america24-7.com/index.shtml). If the America 24/7 editors select one of your images, you will receive credit and see your work published alongside that of America’s top professionals. You will also receive one copy each of Adobe® Photoshop® Elements and Adobe Photoshop Album software, plus a copy of the book where your image appears. Register now. Adobe and America 24/7 Adobe is the official Publishing and Imaging Software Partner for this major publishing venture. Adobe InDesign® will be used to design and produce all of the books, and Adobe is also providing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat®, and Adobe Illustrator® software, as well as Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Album to everyone whose work is published.
