Laser Pritners on the cheap

List members,

I want to thank the list member that suggest we check out the laser printer
prices on ebay!

I searched down an HP 4ml, we have one at work and know it to be very
rugged, for $48.00 shipped to my door, with a half-full cartridge of toner.

I spent about $20.00 for an HP Jet Direct box that allows it to be an
network printer via ethernet.

I then hooked it into my wireless router, Asante, and have been printing via
airport to my Laser printer.

Couch printing is very cool!

A wireless network printer for $68.00 ain't bad. Cheaper than a new
cartridge.

The thing to keep in mind as those inkjet printers really hit your wallet
for ink. With a printer happy wife and middle schooler it should pay for
itself in a year. 

I guess I wrote this to encourage others to jump in too. Let me know if I
can offer advice. You will probably need a little walk through to set it up
under OS X. Let me know if I can help. It is easy!

FYI, I have os9 and os X Jaguar machines running with the printer.
