Jake,

	I think that the best thing you can do for that battery is to put it 
into rotation with whatever other battery (batteries?) you have for 
your 2400.  You'll get lot's more use from it by ^using^ it rather that 
^storing^ it.  If you don't have a separate charger for it and use your 
machine plugged in most of the time, pick a day of the week as "battery 
day" and rotate you batteries after discharging and recharging 
whichever one is in the computer at the time.  Just unplug you computer 
and surf the net until it starts giving you low battery warnings or use 
a battery amnesia or a similar program to discharge the battery. And 
then plug it back in and let it charge to full capacity.

   If you frequently use your computer off the plug and run the 
batteries down (that's good BTW ;-), do a daily switch after making 
sure you've charged up the battery you're removing.

	Storing the "spare" battery just wastes it's capacity and your money.
