ISTR getting 1.1 to at least load on 8.1 and do something useful, or 
something a little later than 1.0.4.

The problem is, nearly everything you'd want to run that uses CarbonLib 
uses a much later version. Doesn't really hurt having it there, but most 
stuff still won't run that wants CarbonLib.
