Is there a faster protocol than appletalk to transfer big files between a 2400, and beige G3 via Ethernet? I'm getting around 2 Meg a minute at best. Were talking 3 or 4 1 Gig + files that I want to transfer to the 2400 from G3 no.1, then transfer them back to another G3 at my house. The other part of the problem is G3 no. 1 does not have firewire, or a burner. I don't do much in the way of networking so be easy on me.
