2400 screen brightness

Any chance you can post a disassembly procedure?"

Yes. One lamp. Very fragile, needs to be soldered at both ends.
Disassembling the screen is fairly straight-forward and you needn't open
the computer. Just unscrew the four screws in the case (see diagram in
repair manual) and set to. The lamp's under the inverter board, the last
thing to be disassembled.
