Go to www.usr.com and search on that modem. There is a file (V90scripts.sit) that will make it work with a Powerbook. It will say it's for a Megahertz modem, but it's the same. As stated, you need the cable that matches your phone to use it wireless and the cables are somewhat overpriced in my opinion. BTW, this modem works well in a Powerbook. I have several.
