Internal Modem on 3400c

Well, to bring the list up to date, we have tried deleting preferences
of the Remote Access and the Modem.  We have not yet deleted the Remote
Access extension and control panels because we do not have OS9.1.  The
disk was lost by the owner.  I use 8.6, and it works fine for me.  That
is were we are.

The internal ethernet is fine.  Only the internal modem is not working.
On my 3400c with 8.6, both work properly.  Any other ideas?

By the way, I have a 5300 that would be for sale that we used to use.
It is a 5300cs, 500 mb hd, lite on RAM.  Only missing the port door on
the back.  Contact me off list if anyone is interested.
