To Ralph Mawyer and dispersed throng: RE GLOD. you might want to check out this web site. I had the GLOD. I had a techie check my circuit board out just below the cover. Mine was caused by a blown fuse. We know the 2400 is very power supply sensitive. I bought a 5 amp mini fuse for $1. Installation was completed in less than an hour. Computer runs perfectly with the fix. A fix can be done with as little as only a keyboard removal. Instructions to check and repair are here: http://home.socal.rr.com/midijab Fred DYNA-FORM Time and Business Management Email: fpentney at timemanage.com Web: www.timemanage.com Cell: 416-697-7177 -----Original Message----- From: Duo/2400 List [mailto:DuoList at lists.themacintoshguy.com]On Behalf Of Fred Pentney Sent: Thursday, March 13, 2003 11:57 AM To: Duo/2400 List Subject: [Duo2400] Re: GREEN LIGHT Hi: RE GLOD. you might want to check out this web site. Probably a bad processor or bad I/O board, though you might be able to revive without a repair (about $200-$300 from DT&T if processor or I/O board is bad) by following the instructions that Sydney Ho has taken pains to write out for us 2400 users. Start here: http://webobjects.uwaterloo.ca/mac2400/power_reset_by_sydney_ho.htm You can also search the archives of this list (search term 'GLOD' would bring up many discussions) at either of the following places: http://www.mail-archive.com/duolist%40lists.themacintoshguy.com/ http://lists.themacintoshguy.com/Lists/DuoList/List.html -Brian Kameoka ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
