This is what tends to fool people. When the light is on the computer is *off*. The steady green light is a diagnostic condition that means the power manager has been reset. When you hit the power switch and the light goes out, speaker clicks etc. that's the 2400 trying to turn on. This is why the light is on sometimes, off others.
