Andrew's procedure on rebuilding the battery for your Duo is 
excellent, but an important detail was omitted. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN 
CUTTING THE CASE. There is a ribbon cable inside the battery that may 
be sliced inadvertently by the cutting tool. Suggest you look at 
http://www.fastlight.demon.co.uk/jg/duobatt.html where ribbon cable = 
membrane circuit.
