Hi All! Thanks so far to Jack at the Comet ICU website! He has been great help so far in providing info on blown fuses and their part numbers! I have a number of things that I want to try out on the 2400 I have, and just want to see what success people have had on this list (and what pitfalls to avoid). As I have stated before, I live in Perth Australia, so there is no chance I can send the PB off to the US for repair (I would be able to put a serious dent in the money required to buy a new 12" G4 PB if I did!). As the 2400 was never released in Australia, I figure I must be on of a handful of people that own one here! Anyway, here is a list of what I need to do: 1) Replace the internal 1.3gig drive with a 4gig Toshiba drive pulled from a 333Mhz Lombard. 2) Give it Cardbus compatibility. This model is the one that has the yellow jumper wire close to the SO-DIMM slot. 3) Fix the mouse clicker, as it is bugging me like there is no tomorrow! 4) Replace the 5amp fuse on the I/O, next to the battery terminals. Any thoughts or pointers? I was hoping to do the whole lot while the 2400 was apart (except maybe the cardbus hack until I know it is working). Thanks in advance! Rod!
