My thought is that picking up a working 280c and transferring the HD and RAM (if needed) will not only be less expensive, but get a faster machine than the 270c. If you are looking for parts only, my friend landed a batch of various Duo stuff and he may have what you need as well. ~ Larry -------Original Message------- From: Mark Semon <msemon1 at rochester.rr.com> Sent: 01/21/03 10:11 AM To: Duo/2400 List <DuoList at lists.themacintoshguy.com> Subject: [Duo2400] Re: Replacement PB Duo 270C active matrix screen? > > >>>Hi -- >>> >>>Somehow the active-matrix screen on my trusty old PowerBook 270C >>>got busted (physically broken, shattered glass, not just >>>non-functioning). I hadn't realized that the duo's had that much compatibility. That'd be a much cheaper way for Bart. Mark ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
