The only way to secure a wireless network right now is to reduce its range
and/or turn it off. 40-bit vs. 128-bit encryption sounds like night and day,
but in 802.11(a, b, g) the master key is broadcast at regular intervals. It is
trivial to capture packets and mass-analyze them to find the key.

Don't worry about it. It'd take around 3-4 days before the network was
compromised, but no one would bother doing that unless they didn't like you
and/or you had a 'fat pipe'.
