I forgot to add when looking for rechargeable C or D batteries, make sure you're not getting the cheap stuff. Some cheap batteries really have only AA inside a C or D sized can. A good C or D batteries have around 5,000 mAh while AA is usually around 1,000 to 1,500 mAh (estimate)
