2400 audio queries

For what it's worth,

...noticed in passing on the cover of current Mac Format or Mac User 
(UK), that there's a tutorial on just this subject, though doubt it's 
to be 2400 specific.

It's gist, if I'm not mistaken, was converting one's analog audio 
collection to digital format.

Shall check more carefully tomorrow if I get into town.

The quality of the audio IN on the 2400 might remain the stumbling 
block though.
