Edgar, could you provide a link to the auction? I tried to search for "ADB USB" but didn't find any devices claiming to be made by Microsoft. I did find one auction that didn't specify brand, and which stated that the device does what you say, but the picture of the device plainly shows otherwise: There's a male USB plug, and two female ADB plugs. It's for connecting an ADB device to a USB Mac.
