Hi EP. If your screen has a light gray tinge to it and you can hear a slight hum from the hard drive then it might be a blown micro fuse on the upper level circuit board that is easily accessible. I have posted the repair previously - it came to me with fabulous instructions from Dan. Let me know your symptoms beyond the Glod and I'll start digging for the posting.
