ADB to USB

 I have a serial cutter-plotter (a printer with knives) 
with an ADB hardware security dongle. I thought I was 
stuck with WallStreets, the last model with those 2 ports.
Are you saying Lombards, Pismos, iBooks and up, 
with the proper adapters, can sense an ADB hardware key, 
and drive a serial printer/plotter? Maybe I was mislead.
    Tho, if so, I guess a bigger prob would be getting 1997 
software to play nice with OSX.
