there are still Omnitek 64 mb chips on ebay I have one and it works fine for months now. it was $30ish these are advertised as 2400c ram chips also a while back there were some listers who had trouble with a bad batch of chips but i think they were very good supporting returns. They were able to track down the source of the trouble. I got a replacement chip prior to installation just to be safe. no problems yet ... and $30 is cheap. the problem was same , 64mb showing as 32 perhaps worth checking on returming the chips? >Just bought two new Edge Memory brand 64 MB RAM modules, specifically >identified for the 2400. > >Both modules only showing as 32 MB (for a total of 48 in "About This >Computer") in my 2400. > >I tried a PRAM reset already. No luck. > >Am I missing something, or are both modules bad ram? > >Scott > > >---------- >Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! >A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables. >FAQ at <http://www.themacintoshguy.com/lists/DuoListFAQ.shtml> >Be sure to visit Mac2400! <http://www.sineware.com/mac2400> > >To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <DuoList-off at lists.themacintoshguy.com> >To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to ><DuoList-digest at lists.themacintoshguy.com> >Need help from a real person?
