Cardbus modem? Do those exist? If so, do they provide any benefit, since
modem speeds (7 KB/sec max) are a fraction of 16-bit PC Card speeds (8135 
KB/sec max)?

(For reference, Cardbus (32-bit) is potentially 16x faster than 16-bit.)
