OT: 800K floppies

If you've got a machine that was _pre_ 2Mb floppies, they don't need the
tape. Taping the hole will 'fool' a Mac that can read both types.

BUT there are a lot of opinions on how stable a 2Mb formatted as a 1Mb
(800k formatted) will be. An older drive won't have the 'oomph' to write
reliably to a 2Mb disk. Opinions vary wildly, there's a lot on this on the
