My 2400's lit-up screen size is 8 5/16" by 6 1/4", i.e. 8.3125" by 6.25". If you divide the 800 pixels horizontally by 8.3125 you get 96.2 pixels per inch If you divide the 600 pixels vertically by 6.25 you get exactly 96 pixcels per inch. So you weren't so far out, Mike!!
