280c upgrade path?

Fellow Listers...

 Now that I'm the proud owner of 2 280c's I would like to bring them into
the realm of 2300/2400.. How would I go about that? I understand a mobo swap
would be first.. But can I take the screen casing and all and throw it onto
the bottom half of my 280c's? Are the hd's still compatiable... The ram?
Etc?
