Thanks for the tip. Lived in Mexico for longtime. This location is a few blocks for my office. Have basically learned to be selfsufficient as decent apple support is rare in Mexico. What is the nearest cross street? Puebla runs all the way from the circuito to Cuauhtemoc. There is one stand for used mac stuff in the plaza del computo downtown between El Salvador & Uruguay next to Eje Central. (The plaza is a great source for components, cables, mobo's and stuff.) Also a dusty mac store on Uruguay separate from the plaza. Have had mixed experience at Compudabo. >From: ElBrio at aol.com >Message-ID: <156.31c7017b.2da3077c at aol.com> >Date: Mon, 5 Apr 2004 15:03:24 EDT >Subject: [Duo2400] Re: WTB: 2400 G3 > >In a message dated 4/5/04 12:00:04 PM, samoht at bl.org writes: > ><< It'd look like .45 caliber rounds all around your belt, and the >buckle would hide the bulk of the cable. > > Live from Texas, >> > >Battery Bandoliers......sigh......only from a Texan.....(grin) > >"Ok, se=F1or, donna move o Ah crank up mi 2400 G-Cinco!!" > >(insert best fake Pancho Villa accent here...) > >Andres=20 >(el gringo feo estadounidenses) > > >(incidently, one of the nicer Mac-centric stores in Mexico is on Ave. Puebla= >=20 >near Ave. Chapultec on the edge of the Zona Rosa....nice guys...helped me ou= >t=20 >once when the Duo decided to go nuts one fine afternoon....)
