Dear 2400c: Please come home.

I bought a new battery for my 2400c on Wednesday night, and a few 
minutes after that, the 2400c stopped cold. Nothing but the slightest 
click when hitting the reset button.

The nice folks at MacService in San Jose, Calif., said it needs a new 
processor, and with parts and service, it'll be $270.

Maybe it would've been more practical to buy a new box, but I have 
always been determined to be buried with that 2400c.
