That's kinda my reason for asking... I don't know which adapter the 2400c requires. Bu there is no problem using the 45W adapter in place of the 36W. The computer simply uses as much power as it can but it won't use more than it's supposed to (unless it's faulty). You can have a problem using a wallwart with an excessive current rating as they are not regulated. This means if you don't draw enough current the voltage is too high. The Apple laptop power adapters are regulated so this isn't a problem. General rules of thumb for power adapters: Voltage must match Polarity must match AC/DC must match Connector must match Current of the power supply must meet or exceed load requirement.
