I don't use my MP2100 with a Duo dock, but it works fine with my regular 
desktop computer connected via the serial(printer) port.   You need the special 
dongle to adapt the 2100 to an ordinary printer cable.    You need Newton 
Connection Utilities(available from www.unna.org)on your desktop/duo to do the 
syncing.
