It's an Apple CD300 SCSI drive. I just keep it around for emergencies. It's not light, so you might want to check your local used computer or Mac Users Groups up that way. Shipping would probable be around $10 ground and $20 2-3Day FedEx. We can go back channel on pricing, if you are really interested. That said, you can use any SCSI CD drive for the 2400, though you do need an adapter, since the 2400 has a shorter pin interface for SCSI. If you get a Newer BookEndz docking station it will mitigate that need, i.e., it meshes with the PB 2400 and has a wide-SCSI connector on the back. The only issue you'll have is booting from a CD and even that has a work around through the use of some older Apple 7.x drivers or hacked OS 8.x drivers.
