Also, shine a light on the LCD while attached, maybe the backlight power is out and the rest is fine. Inspect the boards for small 8 pins square units (~0.75x0.75 cm chips) for bulges or distortions. Also try swapping power and CPU boards to see if swaps make the difference. Mad Dog
