These are Li-Ion batteries so as far as I know there is no recondition possible. 
 
Once the wear out and no longer hold a charge. You must replace.

If that is the case, then why does the program in the Powerbook G3 series/Lombard/Pismo allow you to "condition," "refresh" - or whatever - the batteries in those models? Those are li-ion batteries also...
