I understand the time problem! Regarding the printer, I'm not familiar with Apple printers. I have heard some people on the Duolist mention using Apple laserjet printers using the Appletalk network. I think that works from the serial port of a Duo.  Which Duo does your daughter use? I will copy this message to the Duolist. Maybe someone there can give you a better answer.

Hi Art,

Sorry I have not replied sooner.  Thank you for the Manuals.  They look to be the solution I need, though I have not had a minute to work on the Duos in the last month nor will in the near future.  

A question for you, what printers will still work with the duos? I'd like to send my daughter, away in college, something more current than my Apple dot matrix;^).
