Even better... The Orinoco / Proxim / WaveLAN 802.11b cards work perfectly with system software as far back as 7.5.3. For a few years (yes, years) I used a PowerBook 190cs with a WaveLAN card, and Mac OS 7.6.1. Geez, a PowerPC processor isn't even a requirement for 802.11b connectivity. ---------- >From: tom bonacci <bonaccit at law.utah.edu> >To: Moe <hugeu2fan at gmail.com>, duolist at listserver.themacintoshguy.com >Subject: Re: [DuoList] Basic OS X questions (yes I searched archives!) >Date: Tue, May 17, 2005, 5:50 AM > > It's possible to run an 802.11 adapter in the 2400 without upgrading to > OS X.
