Hello all! I bought a new BTI battery for a PowerBook 500 at Fry's back in 2001. It lasted a few months, then died. It seems that NiMH batteries have a relatively limited shelf life if they are not periodically cycled. The guys at http://www.batteryuniversity.com/ know more, I'm sure... Just my $ .02 Cheers, Ron On Oct 4, 2005, at 11:51 PM, duoman at mac.com wrote: > Hello, John (and 'List)- > I bought a couple of those VST batteries from Shreve Systems back > when they first acquired them, and they ended up being mostly crap. > Out of three bought, two failed, and the other failed after a > couple of months.
