[DuoList] found a 2400c w/ G3 upgrade -- it has issues

It's because you need to install the software for the G3 card.  The  
L2 cache structure of the new processor isn't active because the  
software isn't installed, and the operating system thinks it's  
failed.  Just download the drivers, install, and you're good.
