If that is the case something like the Logitech Play Link might work, it would be 11Mbps/second (802.11b speeds) but on a 2300 that shouldn't be a huge deal anyway. I have one that I use to get internet to my Xbox, one box at your router, the other at your Docking station and you're good to go. It also uses RF signals to avoid interference.
