Two Users folders??

I had to reinstall OSX and chose the option to archive the users folder.

I had to sudo to delete the "Previous System" folder and now notice 
there are TWO identical Users folders (one lies on top of the other).  
I get an error when trying to drag one of them to the trash.

I could probably trash these from terminal, however, an ls or ls -a 
only reveals one folder.  What's up with that?

Anyone?
