There is a difference between the CPU fan, which is loud when it cycles, and the power supply fans, which can range from silent to very loud. There are a lot of people, including me, that are very upset about the noise. My Dual 1 GHz is in the shop waiting for a new PS to see if that can quiet it down. I will return it if it does not, as it is too loud to use in my house. Pretty disappointing from a company that promotes quiet computing. (The wall rattling startup "Bong" is another irritating noise.) -- __________________________ Phil Lefebvre Chicago, IL
