About two weeks ago I asked if a new G4 could be used with an old 
Applesync monitor. I did not get a definitive reply. The concensus was 
'yes, with an adapter' but no specifics. I have since bought the G4 
Dual I.0 GHz and it is now in use connected to my 1705 monitor with an 
adapter I got for $12.95 from an Apple authorized service dealer .

Man, this thing is fast!!
