ITUnes Toast can't find burner

Thank you to all who responded to my plea about software not seeing my 
burner. John Baltutis's suggestion was the one that got things going. 
This is what I did:

Turned the burner off and unplug it from the wall and pulled the 
firewire plug also. Replug it and turned on the
power. Open up Apple System Profiler and it showed up. Fired up iTunes
and Toast and there it was.
