You should have a second device connection plug on the ribbon that is connected to the CD drive and there should be an extra power plug also available. You will need the Zip drive mounting kit, a replacement slotted front bezel piece for the Zip cartridge to pass through, and the IDE model Zip device in the capacity that you want to install. The OS will have installed the Iomega driver unless you did a custom install and did not select the Iomega package for installation. Verify that your CD drive is identified as a "master" device. Make sure that you identify the Zip as a "slave" device by putting the bridge on the right pair of pins. Install the hardware, reboot, and insert a cartridge. You are now in business with a Zip device!!! It took me about 15 minutes to do it to a B&W G3, so there shouldn't be very much difference for your G4.
