Software Updater for Mac OS X Update 10.2.5

The updater did its thing but for some reason the restart time has been
extended with Mac OS X 10.2.5.  After a restart I get a solid blue screen
while the OS figures out how to display the desktop.  I don't recall this
delay in 10.2.4

Anybody else noticed this delay?
