Unlike what one poster suggests, you'll have to buy an Airport Extreme for the new G4 and a regular Airport for the iBook. You can skip the Airport Base Station. I believe Mac OS X and 9 both have an Airport mode called "Software Base Station" that will let you use your G4 as a base station. If anyone out there has experience with this function, please post. I'm curious if people are using it and what kind of performance and/or difficulty they've had out of that setup. I eventually intend to get an Airport for my Quicksilver, set up a software base station and use an 802.11b card in my Dell laptop to connect to the internet.
